They talk about the existing tnt flights but they forget ethiopian is also flying that route, going east only and fedex going west.
Very popular route indeed, but 1 flight per week is nothing...

What happened with etihad btw ?

National Airlines and Navitrans USA said they were set to launch a weekly round-the-world service using a 747-400F, operating Chicago-Liege-Baku-Hong Kong-Narita-Anchorage-Chicago.

The service starts on 1 June and will operate year-round.

Vim Airlines is the russian company that operates charter flights between China and Liège via Russia. They now offer seats from Liège to Moscow or Saint Petersburg to belgian customers. Chinese passengers continue their journey from Moscow/Saint Petersburg to China.
Flights started in april, 4 flights a week increasing to 8 a week in the summer.
Same thing happened last year with I-Fly operating those flights for U-Tour !

looked for it and unable to find .. guess it's the old fashioned way through the travel agency so they can add 'dossierskosten' on top of the 75 EUR :-)

According to ch-aviation.com, VIM suspends charter ops.
I don't get access to this article, if someone has and can make a resume.
Is this new concerning U-Tours charters as well?

luchtzak wrote: 18 May 2017, 11:06 According to Belgian business newspaper L'Echo Air China Cargo, an all-cargo subsidiary of Air China will start weekly flights between Liege Airport and Shanghai. From 7 June a Boeing 777 will connect both cities on a weekly basis. The aircraft has a cargo capacity of 100 tons, Liege airport confirmed the news to the newspaper but refrains from further comments (but re-tweeted the news). [ 136 more words ]

At least LGG gets new ones, Brussels Airport will get 2 second hand ones. :D (but admittedly they are very nice ones, virtually unused). We had one of them at our fire department in Londerzeel for our parade this Sunday. It's a Carmichael Cobra2 6x6 crashtender ex-United Kingdom, year of construction 2003. Not sure how old the second one is, it might be slightly younger but same make & model. A local GSE dealer is currently fixing it up, painting it and making all the papers in order for use on Brussels Airport. I'll try to post some pics in the next couple of days ;)
