The T2 has been inaugurated on December 22nd.

I find it shame that they opened a new building apart of the current one. Won't it be confusing for the passenger ? "Do I have to go to T1 or T2 to take my flight ?"

I find this new building a bit ugly and makes me think at Marseille MP2 or Lyon St-Ex T3...

On my personnal opinion they should have extended the actual apron alongside the tarmac to have 1 building only. It would have been more conveniant and more nice-looking.

When Ryanair says Eilat, they mean Ovda (LLOV/VDA), which is much further away from the Red Sea! Hence, Brussels-Eilat means Charleroi-Ovda.

Do they also fly BRU - BCN and CRL - Barcelona Girona? If yes, how many frequencies altogether? Isn't the Brussels - Barcelona route overcrowded ?

Ryanair indeed will fly both BRU-BCN and CRL-BCN. Girona has been abandoned some time ago.

BRU-BCN is served by Brussels Airlines, Ryanair and Vueling.

The flights are not yet bookable on their website. Quite strange while they advertise that they are...

CRL-BKK? CRL-JFK? Wishing them every success, but, err, on what type of aircraft? Not an A340 by any chance? ;)

Ryanair connecting to Norwegian out of CRL.
Not departing with long haul shoes from CRL.

I understood the article of La Libre like this : Norwegian could come to settle in Brussels BRU in 2018 but today allow via flights Ryanair to join Norwegian european hubs like BCN for flying intercontinental... No ?

@Desert Rat: apologies for misunderstanding. So they are reinventing the Loftleidir concept of 50-odd years ago? Making it in fact CRL-xxx-JFK rather than CRL-JFK (&c mutadis mutandis) What would be their xxx? Shannon, perhaps? Prestwick?

Ovda (VDA) will be closed and new Ramon (ETH/LLER) airport will be opened before new routes start.
