Travel Magazine (Belgian travel trade magazine) posted the following on their Facebook page (translated and slightly altered by myself):

After more than 9 years, VLM Airlines will once again connect Antwerp with London City Airport. This has been confirmed to Travel Magazine's office today.
VLM Airlines will use its Slovenian AOC, Belgian crew and operate with aircraft registered in Belgium. Flights will start on 30 October 2017.
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays VLM Airlines will fly three times a day, on Thursdays and Fridays four times a day and on Sundays two times a day.
Tickets can be booked via travel agents and in a later stage online on VLM's website.

Interesting that the base for the A320 staff will be Brussels... Change of plans, Brussels iso of Maribor for the A320?

Indeed. The A320 is certainly not going to be based at Antwerp.

I'm not sure if it's a change of plans. Don't forget that the 40 employees they take over of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium are already based in Brussels. SHS Aviation said in May that they could stay there.
