Return flight UA951 BRU-IAD is cancelled. Does it mean that UA950 never arrived in BRU? FR24 doesn't show that UA950 continued to BRU...

UA951 has been cancelled indeed:

But also the inbound flight UA950 appears to be cancelled as per Brussels Airport website:

Looking at the flight history of the involved aircraft on FR24, it seems the aircraft never continued its journey to BRU (yet). On the other hand, FR24 still says that the aircraft will operate today's UA951, departing 11:55 LT...

It means that a lot of pax are stranded in MAN! Unless SN ha sent a relief flight to pick them up...

No reason yet for the diversion?

SN-241 from Monrovia (Liberia) to Brussels (Belgium) became Monrovia-Basel-Brussels. Reason: the crew received a left hand cabin ventilation fault message shortly followed by smoke and a burning odour on board.

Another of those fog diversions: on 02 Jan 2017, LOT LO-235 WAW-BRU Warsaw-Brussels diverted to AMS Amsterdam, after 20 minutes of holding near Hasselt (SP-LIN - Embraer ERJ-175LR).

It seems that the aircraft (N257UA) eventually reached Brussels, from where it will depart tomorrow 4 January at 13:00 to Washington as UA2057.

The aircraft didn't try to go back to BRU later. It returned as a ferry flight straight to WAW as LO9002. The return flight LO236 was cancelled.

Again stranded passengers, both at AMS and BRU. I trust LOT took good care of them.

A Nordica Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of LOT Polish Airlines from Tallinn (Estonia) to Brussels (Belgium) was enroute at FL360 about 70nm northeast of Malmo (Sweden) when the crew decided to return to Tallinn due to engine (CF34) oil pressure fluctuations. The aircraft landed safely back in Tallinn about one hour after turning around.

A lot of delayed flights today @ BRU.
All SN long haul operations have 3 or 4 hours delays. SN 2713 to Geneva more than 5.
De icing problems ?

Long-haul flights probably waiting for incoming connexions.

Poor SN passengers for Africa !!!! 3 flights are still on the ground @ BRU.
I guess there must be something other than snow to clear on runway !! :-)

BRU does not show now TG flight...and SN to Entebbe Kigali ...disapperaed ! I suppose all were cancelled. BRU is a mini IST today :-)

What's wrong with this airport that has a fabulous potential and is normally efficient. We did not have dante weather conditions (-1 in Uccle) and SN canceled 2 or 3 long haul and a lot of delays of nearly 4 to 5 hours for everyone! Luckily Brussels is not Anchorage! ;) can someone give some explanations...

Awfull performance of BRU then!

How come the Europe flights could take off and not the Afi flights?

All the SN Africa flights have been delayed for 6 hours or more because their handler didn't have enough de-icing capacity to de-ice all their flights. Due to this delay some African flights have already been cancelled as crews ran out of duty time. Other flights of this handler in the morning and afternoon have been delayed for 2-6 hours due to capacity problems. That's why TG and HU have been delayed with 4,5 and 5 hours respectively. Also smaller aircraft or operators like Ryanair suffer from these problems.
