And as if it were not enough, due to strike action of ground staff at Berlin SXF and TXL there will be severe disruption of air traffic from 13/03 4 a.m. until 14/03 approx. 5 a.m.

As a reminder, ALL Brussels-Berlin flights were cancelled last Friday (SN, FR, U2).

You want another one? You got it. Ground strike at Berlin airports extended for another day, until 15/03 at 5 a.m.!

Oh yes: the observation decks will also be closed. But since there is nothing to observe....

Curious ! All TK and LG flights and some AB medium and Long Haul flights are operated...from Tegel.

Indeed, some flights are operating. But all Brussels flights are cancelled. Some airlines also send their Berlin flights to Leipzig and Hanover.

End of the Lufthansa pilot strikes? Anyway, breakthrough in the negotiations: Lufthansa and Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) reach a comprehensive agreement on a CLA deal that will last until 2022.

Elsewhere, air traffic at Berlin airports SXF and TXL has been running since early morning after the strike, with only slight impairment.

The ATCOs don't care about the Alitalia business plan.

But the Alitalia unions do: Alitalia unions call a strike for April 5 to protest cuts.

Strike at Liege and Charleroi airports from tomorrow, Friday 31, at 14:30?

The socialist union CGSP will hold an assembly Friday at 14.30 and could go on strike immediately thereafter, just when passengers are departing for their Easter holidays. The union want that the Walloon government (their employer) guarantees the jobs called "continuous service" which ensure the departures and landings of aircraft.

Adria Airways pilots have decided to step up their strike after the management of the airline refused to budge at their first two days of industrial action. The pilots also set the dates for further action in April, May and June 2017.
