Eurowings CEO Thorsten Dirks says his airline should get a revenue boost of more than €1 billion a year from the Lufthansa deal to buy part of Air Berlin. Eurowings could also absorb the short-haul business of Alitalia if Lufthansa struck a deal to buy parts of the Italian carrier.

Quite complex (or is it chaotic) situation , if you ask me. Difficult to keep the oversight...at least for those watching on the sideline, but probably also for those in the midst of it.

It's even more than that: Eurowings' appetite is big! Eurowings will lease one A319 from Czech Airlines in November 2017 to support operations, mainly out of Munich and Stuttgart. Eurowings will also use one Air Europa B737-800 on selected Stuttgart service, and one SunExpress Germany B737-800 to/from Dusseldorf.

It’s one of the new A330’s, no reduction for SN.
Re: News from Eurowings 2016-2017
I still have a hard time believing it's good news for SN from BRU ... The new "less old" planes could eventually all go to DUS. We have to develop EW...
