Seems Terzakis is working on a new long haul airline. Are already talking to SQ to lease a former B777 aircraft. Seems to be linked to the Chinese charter flights operating at LGG.

The domain name today belongs to Aviation Investment Holding, register-address Rue Douffet, 21, 4020 Liège, email-at-skywind-avia.com

I would indeed have been surprised if FVG used the word Belgium in the name of his airline, knowing his political affiliation.

I heard they already have offices next to Louvain-la-Neuve, business linked with Liege, Terzakis and long haul...

The domain name registration for AirBelgium.com doesn't point towards TNT or Terzakis, but towards Deta Air Cargo and mr Alexey Sumchenko and mr Yat Sang Peter Yip (surname Yip), both based at Hong Kong.

I therefore guess Alexey Sumchenko was active with Deta Air Cargo:

Official address from the owner of the domain name AirBelgium.com (siège sociale - maatschappelijke zetel) is in 1050 Brussels. The business address hasn't been announced yet to the Belgian register. Could be BRU, could be LGG.

Air Belgium (Liège) is a Belgian start-up planning to commence revenue operations later this year.

Details of the project remain scant but it is presumed it will operate internationally.

Senior management appears to be formed primarily of ex-TNT Airways (3V, Liège) staff according to the carrier's LinkedIn company page.

I had not thought of consulting LinkedIn, a good idea! Can't help having my own thoughts about the indication "501-1000 employees", though...

This picture was leaked on a website by mistake. Few hours after the discovery the link was broken.

So I decided to blur it on purpose not to spoil their press conference if any.

The tail design doesn't look like the one posted on their website I must say (although it's very blurry)... ;)

Btw, what was the aircraft type? A 777? And was it cargo or passenger?

What you see on their website is the very tip of the tail. 2/3 of the tail reveals their new logo.

It is not cargo but passenger. Seems B777 is an ex SQ aircraft.
