Funchal and Rhodos were flown by HQ, not sure about Comiso but I don't think so.

They are HQ destinations (FNC and RHO), but this is not yet part of taking over their network/flights (that will only happen as from W17-18 season, so as from end of October), these routes were planned already before the signage of the current take over deal. But obviously more flights will be operated there in the future because it.

The direct DL flight BRU ATL is operated daily in code share with AF and KL. Normal. Since some days AF and only AF put its flight number on the ATL IAH section.
Can we therefore say that there is a direct flight on and from Houston operated by DL via ATL ?

No. Same flight number, but change of plane at ATL and obligation to go through customs and security at ATL. The same flight number is only a marketing gimmick.

It's clear. Thank you.

I recently flew IAH - ATL, ATL - BRU.
Indeed both flights had the same flight number: DL80.
But yes, it is different aircraft.

In my Delta Skymiles account though it shows up as 1 flight.

On check-in in Houston I wanted to change seats because the app wasn't allowing it for some reason. The check-in agent also had difficulty to change my seat mumbling something about "Both segments have the same flight number (sigh)". :geek:

Personally I think it is one of the most stupidest ideas ever to give 2 completely unrelated flights the same flight number. It can be a source of confusion, and when designing IT systems, cannot assume that a flight number is unique to 2 airports.

HU7922 BRU - PVG 1230 - 0530 (789)

Quite confusing again!

In 2014 I took DL80 from LAX to ATL on the 77L! After ATL this flight continued on with the 767 to BRU
Quite confusing to see Brussels on all departure screens at LAX! Especially since nobody was connecting on to BRU

I was just checking the wikipedia page of Brussels Airport in English.
In the "Airlines and Destinations" tab, it says that American Airlines has flights to:
Dallas-DFW, Los Angeles,Philadelphia,New York City John F. Kennedy International Airport,Boston-Logan,Charlotte, Phoenix,Seattle,San Francisco, Miami, Chcicago-Ohare, Orlando

I wish it was true, but I guess it's not :)

Indeed, I saw this as well. There are a few other (small) errors. E.g. currently SN is not flying to Agadir, nor to Lourdes ...

On FR24, there was an SN flight to Kaunas (Lithuania) this morning. Is there a problem at Vilnius or is this a new SN destination?

VNO is undergoing maintenance this summer at its only runway, KUN is used as a temporary alternative.

Still 2 dailies... Is QR more important than EK and EY @ BRU?
