VTM reports that the cellphone network in Brussels is overloaded.
The Red Cross has opened an online message system where people can post they're safe:

Re: Explosions in the Departure Hall of Brussels Airport!
LH group allows passengers to refund/reroute/rebook for the next 6 days. So I think they expect BRU to be closed longer then untill 6am tomorrow
Re: Explosions in the Departure Hall of Brussels Airport!
No - at least not based on that LH info.sean1982 wrote:LH group allows passengers to refund/reroute/rebook for the next 6 days. So I think they expect BRU to be closed longer then untill 6am tomorrow
"28th March" is the date that flexibility to change bookings applies.
Re: Explosions in the Departure Hall of Brussels Airport!
I know, that's why I think that the airport won't open fully tomorrow
Re: Explosions in the Departure Hall of Brussels Airport!
I presume (hope) 21 in total and not 21 fr just one attack?sn26567 wrote:Now 21 fatalities. RIP!
11 at BRU
10 at Maalbeek?

Re: Explosions in the Departure Hall of Brussels Airport!
VRT says nobody was killed at Maalbeek. Thus it should be 21 at BRU.
