KLM will increase from March 22, 2016, the fee for the first piece in Europe with € 5. The new rates are € 25 each way with an online booking and € 35 if the luggage is checked in at the airport.
The Flying Blue Ivory members receive € 10.- discount for online booking, which means that their rate is € 15 each way.
It remains considerably more advantageous to check in baggage online instead of at the airport.
The first piece and second piece of luggage will remain free for Flying Blue Platinum, Gold and Silver members.
