If the Pula flight turns out to be the only one VLM operates out of Altenrhein, I imagine they will have to position one of the FDH planes to there on Sunday morning. Which means a 13 mile trip across the lake!

Oh how I'd love to be on one of those flights :)

VLM hired a new Sales Manager for the German Sales Team. Nicole Pellinen is reponsible for the corporate business and the travel agency chains:

After the closing of the ANR-BHX and ANR-GVA fligths, about 70% of the VLM flights are from/to German destinations.

Before the sale of the airline to Air France, 100% of the flights were to/from London City!

Not typical of a Belgian airline...

Who the hell will fly between ANR and FDH? Even a BRU-FDH wouldn't work!

Flight to bring the crew home for the weekend? If so why not try to sell some seats...

Perfect to go skiing for 5 days from ANR... but nobody will know about the flight? They should try to make a deal with ASL Travel who operate private ski flights from ANR.

It is a few days per week, but not on Friday/Sunday. Those days, a direct flight does operate (VG150/151). I can't get it to price though.

79,50 Euro oneway on VG150/151, so 159 Euro for a return and of course possible to combine with the flights via HAM.

For a weekend trip from Friedrichshafen to Antwerp or Brussels one Saturday is probably not enough.
Antwerp - Friedrichshafen could be interesting for ski tourists, but flight dates aren't that good and are there any cooperations with travel agencies?
But like somebody already said, probably the crew or the plane has to go back to Antwerp.

I was actually looking at maybe booking Antwerp-Friedrichshafen but... VLM's site has disappeared. It just displays a rather unhelpful message saying that the server doesn't know which website to actually show but that users should 'simply enter the domain name in the location bar of their web browser'. Which you just did of course. Looks like this has been going on for at least a few hours now.

And while it does look like a malconfigured server at their hosting company, you would sort of expect VLM to acknowledge any technical problems on their Facebook page and/or their Twitter account. Alas, complete radio silence on their part - which might lead some people to think it's not just their server that's grounded.

Not impossible they are doing maintenance on their web server. If that is the case, there are certainly more professional approaches. Should I apply as an IT manager? ;)

For the technically inclined, you might wish to point your browser at the IP adress found in DNS - but don't hold your breath...

You had better ask what is wrong with their IT and/or their IT department and/or their IT management and/or their IT budget. I have every confidence their planes are quite all right.

For me too now. But such interruptions during the search for a schedule can be frustrating...
