working on it. If we do not get the VLP and VLF we will just put the Vizion Air livery on the other ones. First we need 2 aircraft to be able to rock and roll. I expect news within 2 weeks.

Gazet van Antwerpen:

Tinker regards its negociation with VLM's curator/liquidator as positive. Tinker plans to start with some 50 former employees.

Jan Loyens (one of the three curators/liquidator) confirms he has held a long negociation with Tinker on Monday.

However, Loyens ads, "...there are still other candidates for a take over, and we will choose for the best business plan that keeps the most jobs. Apart from that, we also need approval from the federal government...".

From the Belgium spotting forum, it appears that OO-VLS is coming back from SCN:

Things moving a little bit?

And what about VLM as a feeder for TUI/Jetairfly? Flying to/from OST, ANR, BRU, and neighbouring countries where TUI-flights take off with bigger airplanes to further destinations?

Forget about over-eager Dutch taxi companies. They want want and want, but once they get it, they suddenly loose interest and botch it. That's how they conduct business nowadays.

SN is the obvious take-over candidate for me.
The only reason I can see for SN to abstain is the looming Eurowings integration, which would make such a feeder service an unwanted burden, even though it would be perfect to feed Africa, North American and yes, now also the Asian newtorks.

Yes, you have said this 100 times, but that doesn't make your supra-galactic plan for a feeder ANR-BRU more realistic. I even wonder if you believe in it yourself. But then, you also said that a take over before bankruptcy, at a 15 mio € price tag, would be a good investment...

If I understand well, then these planes were not owned by VLM (so part of the previous sale & lease-back last-ditch attempt by VLM). So in fact, not part of the action plan of VLM's curator/liquidator?

Totally different aspect, what would be the current situation for the ex-VLM staff?? I hope for them, most might have found a new job (although I doubt it), but eventually a quick restart will become more difficult if most of the ex-VLM staff (with specific F50 ratings/experience) is gone...

I hope some good news comes soon (and it won't be a restart by SN ;-)) otherwise the future might start looking bleak...

Beside the taxi joke, i am really wondering who are the other interested parties?

All very quiet indeed.

About those VLM F50s in VizionAir colours, here is a message sent yesterday by VizionAir to its clients:

Dear fans, due to the sad situation we all experienced with VLM Airlines , our two beloved Fokker 50 (OO-VLF and OO-VLP) could not be used to fly for you the last month. We are finalizing a deal to get them back.
Just relax, and we come back with info asap !
