Indeed RWY change.

I had copied the ATIS just before doors closed and it was 07 active. I was surprised we took off a few minutes later from good ol' 25R; it was about 12:44z.
Looks like the change couldn't be orchestrated smoothly but not sure the BA wave off was due to that.

Antwerp airport website today mentions rather weird 'departure'.
VG976 left for a 'secret destination'.

Uur Vlucht Bestemming Opmerkingen
8:00 VG976 All airports (VLM Airlines) Departed SECRET DESTINATION
10:00 VG956 Liverpool (VLM Airlines) Departed 10.02
12:50 JAF6997 Berlijn tegel (JAF) Departed 12:58
16:50 JAF6063 Rome (JAF) Departed 17.00
17:05 JAF6793 Alicante (JAF) Departed 17.05

My guess: South of France.

Another charter? With a secret load? And strangely the FR24 record stops at FL54 with the plane heading towards Toulon...

Flaps asymmetry, diverted to BRU because of longer runway available. Pax bussed to CRL.

Hi,
Waiting for my LH flight to MUC of 9h10. Was scheduled to arrive with delay at 8h42. However still no airplane. Should be boarding around now (departure 10h00). Anyone more info? Here at the loungedeck no more info available.

Just got more info. Bad weather in MUC. Aircraft on the way now.
Strange it was not announced and 'delayed till 8h42' stayed on the BRU site while the plane was not even in the air.

Hi André,
The plane of my connection flight is blocked in Dresden and will probably have a similar delay as our flight. So I might be lucky :)
Some arrival pax coming from MUC seem to have missed connections here in BRU.
Taking off any moment now.

If it's an emergency, why the big patterns and not straight to BRU?

Not really an incident in a Belgian airport, but it involves a Belgian-owned airline:

Eindhoven Airport closed after an incident involving an ASL Aviation Cessna 525

Eindhoven Airport was closed to all traffic this Wednesday after a Cessna 525 from ASL Aviation Group was stranded on the runway due to problems with the wheels, the airport reported today.

Three flights of Wizz Air were diverted to Maastricht Aachen Airport. A Transavia flight from Munich was diverted to Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Several flights that had to leave this morning were delayed.

Air traffic has resumed around 11:45.
