Re: ANA from NRT to BRU as from winter season 2015
The IATA slot conference is 23-25 June, so after that we should know more about the NH schedule and others in and out of BRU.

Brussels Airlines did not dare to launch the route, fellow Star Alliance airline LOT has the guts to do it!
Subject to Government Approval, LOT Polish Airlines will launch nonstop service to Japan with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with first flight scheduled on 13JAN16. The Star Alliance member will offer Warsaw – Tokyo Narita route 3 times a week. (Source: Airline Route)

You are right, it's not about guts, but b*lls because ordering new planes to open new routes requires b*lls. WAW-NRT doesn't have the potential BRU-TYO has. LOT also doesn't have spare cash to throw away.
But you have to give it to them, they've got c*jones.
TK is selling BRU-TYO returns at 360 Euro's nowadays; while JL doesn't seem to care to lower their fares below 700 Euro's return. It just goes to show how much convincing the Japanese need to fly with TK.
TK is losing money no doubt, but hey, expansion at any cost, including safety.

Nice... That's why they cancelled the NRT-CDG route, in favour of a new daily flight to BRU!

Re: ANA from NRT to BRU as from winter season 2015
Oh, thank you for the confirmation Atlantis.
Where does this official confirmation comes from, if I may ask?
In hindsight, we can now conclude Brussels airport did indeed accidentally report the daily aspect in their initial Tweet about the route: pulling the message offline again instead of just sending a corrective message was clear enough back then, especially combined with the fact ANA cancelled a daily Paris flight soon after.
Now the question is: will it indeed be an early morning arrival in BRU as was rumoured?
Looks like it is quite complicated to get the right slots: might this point to a late evening departure from NRT? I've read that this is one of the bussiest times overthere?

Re: ANA from NRT to BRU as from winter season 2015
A daily flight is excellent news. ANA probably received excellent feedback from their corporate customers and airline partners, paving the way for an all-in.
The 594€ fares are indeed available since quite some time, but these are not for the direct flights.
