A way to avoid a US ban on sales to countries like Iran?
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft said it would continue to cooperate with Iranian airlines in the framework of interim agreements on the delivery of SSJ100Rs, despite the resumption of US sanctions on Iran.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft is mulling the creation of a freighter version of the SSJ100, as well as increasing the capacity to 110 seats, the ability to operate the aircraft to airports in extreme cold weather, and an increase in flight range for the VIP model to 7,000 km.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and AeroPeru International signed a LOI regarding the purchasing of Russian civil aircraft. reportedly 10 SSJ100s and 10 MS-21 aircraft. AeroPeru will be a subsidiary of Peruvian Airlines and will launch operations in the 2020s.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft is looking to invest heavily in European customer-support facilities as it seeks to improve its chances of selling more SSJs to airlines outside Russia. That comes a little too late for the Brussels Airlines wet-leased SSJ100s...

Interjet (Mexico) received US$39.6 million in compensation for maintenance costs for its SSJ100 fleet, after the airline was forced to ground at least four of the type in the past year or so.

Can Brussels Airlines (or CityJet) get a similar compensation?

Interjet (Mexico) plans to restructure its fleet following problems with its Russian aircraft. As part of the restructuring, the airline will sell its 22 Sukhoi Superjet 100s that were acquired since 2013. Although no firm details have been disclosed, Interjet reportedly entered into an amendment in 2012 to its 2005 contract with Airbus, for the purchase 35 firm A320neo aircraft with deliveries scheduled between 2H 2019 and 2H 2023. Interjet will utilize more A320neos to save on fuel and to take advantage of limited airport slots, as the aircraft is larger than its Russian counterpart.

Aeroflot still has confidence in this aircraft (maybe it has to...). It will buy 100 (one hundred!) more.

I think in the land of "Tsar Wladimir", it simply at least had to appear like it had confidence in... well, not that much in the aircraft (which aircrews would concede as a formidable regio jet), but more into spare parts supply.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and United Engine obtained government support for the optimisation of SSJ100 aftersales support, as Sukhoi is revisiting its deliveries plans to instead concentrate on customer support.

May be they should start to work on the tech pub side, because without AMM, IPC, etc...up to date, it's not easy to fix the damn thing!

Iran is not losing hope to buy 40 SSJ100s from Russia by 2022, which relies on US parts to build them. The two governments are in talks about reducing their reliance on US-made parts.

SSJ100 operators cannot increase the number of aircraft flight hours of this type because of problems with the reliability of the SaM146 engines and difficulties in repair, according to top managers of four airlines that operate the aircraft type.

PowerJet (France) says that the airlines using its SAM146 engine on SSJ100s must purchase replacement engines to ensure the continuity of their operations.

Houston, we have a problem...
