But today I didn't see a lot of pax at the FR c/i counters. Swissport c/i agent is enjoying a relaxing smooth day all alone :D

Dear Sean,
I didn't smirk. Perhaps a certain CEO of FR knows the best meaning of "smirk" in the world.
Cheers because i am going to enjoy a good pint of Guinness.

You don't call this smirking? Then what is it exactly?

Not all Ryanair passengers use the check-in counter, only those who have to drop a hold baggage, and they are a small minority.
There may be a small queue at the check-in counter with a full plane.

Ryanair is to appeal an order from the UK Competition Commission to sell its 29% stake in Aer Lingus.
The watchdog upheld a decision made last year telling Ryanair to reduce the stake to 5% due to monopoly concerns in the Irish market.
The carrier said it would go to the UK Court of Appeal to seek a judgement, meaning that the matter is likely to drag on for another two years.

What is the logic in going in the UK Competiton Comission while this thing have nothing to do with the UK as it´s somethink between 2 Irish enterprise?

Ryanair and Aer Lingus are competing on many routes between the UK and Ireland.

In that case, one could ask a simple question : were there more pax at the same counters in the first days of operations?

L/F figures as Sean stated of 80 or 90% doesn't mean anything:
For example:
You can fill up a B747-400F with goose feathers, but if you charge them at actual weight iso chargeable weight you might have to call Houston " we have a problem "

In this case it means that FR is very happy with the start-up of this base. Everything is going according to plan.

And do the legacy carriers resist on the FR routes out of BRU. Do SN, AZ, IB and others still resist?

Flown az from fco last sunday, lf 100 percent... on A320...
Flown az to lin last wednesday,lf 80 percent ... On E175..
Know some collegues which bought themselves tickets to BCN,FCO, already... All on FR..
They didn't checked fares as they supposed FR was the cheapest anyway...
Guess the FR method works on leisure for sure... It's name equals cheap on that will do anyway...
