EADS to re-brand into Airbus

Yesterday, the board of EADS has decided to re-brand the company into Airbus Group from 1 January 2014.

The Airbus Group will consist of 3 Divisions:

• Airbus, responsible for all commercial aircraft activities
• Airbus Defence & Space, based in Munich and home to the Group’s defence and space activities including Military Transport Aircraft and Astrium space activities
• Airbus Helicopters, comprising all commercial and military helicopter activities (formerly Eurocopter)
