Tomorrowland 2013

Post by RoMax »

Ticket sales for Belgium will start on February 9, global sale on February 16.

Once again, Brussels Airlines is partner-airline number one. But with a total of 120 Tomorrowland-fligths (I assume, only a limited part of that are dedicated charter flights) they will also work with Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, United, Air Canada, TAP and Thai. Seems like Star Alliance got a very nice contract on this one :P
People from Sydney, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Montreal, San Francisco, Dubai, Moscow,... will all be able to book a package deal.

Besides air travel, there will be special Eurostar train services to/from London.

Last year I remember we had A LOT of "tomorrowlanders" on various flights. Very good memories I have from those flights :) (and no, that was not sarcastic :p)

On SN's facebook page:
Thanks to the huge succes of the Tomorrowland travel packages, we will exceptionally schedule Airbus A330 long haul aircraft to bring Tomorrowland people from Tel Aviv and Basle to Brussels. In total we'll fly 7,000 festival goers from all over our network to Tomorrowland. We're looking forward to it!

For the tommorowlandflight indeed the answer will be no!
That's very logic as they sold this in a ackage i presume..
But the A330 must pick them up in Basel so this flight would be almost empty!
Maybe a try to fly bru..bsl en gva..bru ;)
Avgeektrip 3 of 2013 ;)

That looks like a bad idea: the aircraft would come back half empty from a faraway destination to pick up pax at a close-by destination? Not very rational. I think there will be two A330 flights.

I don't follow you. I think it will fly empty to TLV (no traffic rights?) and from there to BSL, to become 100% full towards BRU.

SN 1763 on July 25 should be pretty empty too; that one leaves at 10:50 !. The 2 flights to BSL on July 29 will have to return to BRU somehow, and probably empty too. That offers a lot of possibilities, if only SN is open to that idea.

They are not in the GDS. Probably just positioning flights.

On an A332, they should be able to offer a VERY attractive rate, the option being to fly them empty!

The return flights on the 29th may not be in the GDS now but I would think SN can still change that if they want.
