Vizion Air survived to VLM and entered into an agreement with SprintAir to lease an ATR72 and a Saab340.

The Vizion Air ATR72 is ready ! It will do its first appearance in Belgium this Sunday 5th of February in Ostend for flight to Torino.

The Saab 340 will come out of the paint shop, with a new interior, in two weeks. Hope by then VLM is giving white smoke to add the very much needed Fokker 50 to Vizion Air. Next to this, 2 aircraft to be added before summer. We work day and night to get this job done :)
Let's rock and roll!

Nice job. After receipt of the AOC by VLM and 'white smoke' how long would it take to have at least 1-2 F50's currently parked in ANR back in the air? i.e. from a technical ,crewing and adminstrative points of view?

Niky Terzakis (Air Belgium) said yesterday how difficult it is to launch an airline in Belgium: you have to overcome 20 to 30 administrative hurdles, the smallest of which is not obtaining the AOC...

From VizionAir, one hour ago:

This month we added the great King Air 350 to the Vizion Air fleet ! After the ATR72 and Saab 340 we are happy to be able to give you a 8 seater (double club seating) turboprop, based in Antwerp, Belgium.

The 350 is a rare airplane that can carry full fuel and full seats, and it can do it under extreme conditions. High air temperature robs all airplanes of takeoff performance, but the 350 has enough margin to safely take off at maximum weight at sea level on a 50° C day.

But still no VLM F50 ?

Vizion Air informs:

The Vizion Air Fokker 50 is back on track!

Based in Antwerp, the 50 seater turboprop is available for sports team requests, trade fair visits, company shuttles and incentive groups!

You all know how important the Fokker 50 has been for your operation: reliable, good availability, good prices.
Charter sales are open from now!
