Return to BRU at normal cruising altitudes, so I don't think it's a pressurisation problem, nor a medical emergency.

EDIT 1512l: T/D at BRU RWY 25R at 1511l (1311z)

At 11:05 LT, I saw OO-SFZ SN453 doing its T/O from RWY 02 while RWY 25R was used for T/O.
Strange isn't it?

The wind is comming from the north so perhaps they found the wind out of limits for 25R.

UA973 reported before was the economic mission of Prins Filip and others to Chicago.

Sergio, was it a 02 or a 20 takeoff? 20 is rather usual for southbound departures.
And about OO-JLO yesterday: Apparently they were dealing with a (partial) hydraulic failure. In which case, I would choose BRU too.

Press reports : CRL apparently opened half a hour later this morning because of union protest "against the privatisation of the security services". First flight was delayed from 06h30 till 07h00.

I was on that plane with the Belgian Economic Trade Mission and we were diverted to Heathrow, after dumping fuel (first time I saw it, quite spectacular! ) over the Irish Sea.
"Diversion of Flight 973 to London due to a mechanical concern with an aileron".

United reacted promptly, we almost immediately were transferred to another plane and finally arrived in Los Angeles with only 4 hours delay.

United was also very quick with a customer appreciation offer, which was really appreciated (choice of extra miles, 20% off of a economy flight and a third option which I have forgotten - damned jetlag??? ).

Seems like BEL5DN BRU-VNO (Vilnius) is returning to BRU. Possible Medical Emergency because there was no Emergency Squawk used.

When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No-one has ever collided with the sky.

Jetairfly JAF 5422 from Palma de Mallorca to Brussels from Friday evening will only arrive today around 16h00: the aircraft was hit by a luggage trolley just before departure on Friday. All 160 pax have spent the night in a hotel in Palma.

"... A Privilege Style Boeing 757-200 on behalf of Thomas Cook Belgium, registration EC-HDS performing flight FQ-7135 from Marrakesh to Brussels with 146 people on board, was on approach to Brussels' runway 02 when the crew received an unsafe indication for the right hand main gear after selecting the gear down. The crew requested to perform a low approach instead of a full stop landing and asked tower to report whether he could see the right hand main gear. The aircraft continued for the low approach, tower reported the right hand main gear appeared in the fully down position. The aircraft entered a hold at 4500 feet to work the relevant checklists, then positioned for another low approach to runway 02, tower again confirmed the right hand main gear appeared in the full down position. The crew decided to position for another aproach to a full stop landing assuming the gear was down and locked but preparing the cabin for a possible gear collapse on landing. With the passengers instructed to brace for landing the aircraft touched down safely on runway 02 on the third approach about 50 minutes after aborting the first approach, rolled out, vacated the runway and taxied to the gate..."
