Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
here are some A332 on storage
c/n 290 (ex Sabena SFQ)
c/n 232
c/n 300 (ex Sabena SFS)
c/n 343
c/n 874
c/n 939
c/n 946
The last three are ex Kingfisher, they are rather new but I don't know in what shape they are...
There are also some ex Malaysian A333 but these are quiet old (same age as SN's A333 fleet) so I don't think (or I hope) that SN is interested in these birds...

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
The flights of OO-SFU on Flightradar under SN flag:
SN1234 seen @ 2013-05-28 10:16 UTC
BEL001 seen @ 2013-05-25 06:40 UTC

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
SFU is not in BRU yet. Those "flights" don't show him actually leaving Malta, he's just taxiing around.
BEL001@ 2013-05-25 06:40 UTC shows him constantly going back & forth, changing heading. Maybe they were doing a compass swing?

and c/n 343 (HB-IQO) goes to Air Atlanta Icelandic.
Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
Interesting: c/n 874 (ex-Kingfisher) was seen yesterday in Zurich under registration D-ALAA (Lufthansa Technik!). LH no longer has any A332, so...any plans for LX or SN there?

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
Not for LX and LH for sure, both have only the -300 and they'll not return back to the -200 unless they need an extra aircraft fast for temporary capacity and that's very unlikely to me. Neither for OS which has a Boeing-only long haul fleet and they'll add another 777 next year.

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
That would be great as it would mean the 9th A330 for brussels airlines, coming closer to a symbolic "10" heavies!
... and a relatively "new" airplane!
