I am sitting in the A terminal and overlooking runway 25R and wondering what the destiny is of those 2 ex-Brussels Airlines 146 and an all white business jet that are sitting across the runway?
Are they going to be taken apart completely overthere, or do they serve yet another purpose still?
Thank you!

While I am at it: anybody knows what the fate will be of those 3 A310 from the Belgian Air Force that stand at the north side of runway 25R? (I thought they had only 2, BTW)
Re: Question regarding those 2 BAE146 and a bizjet at BRU.
The 2 BAe's are a gift to the firedepartment from Brussels Airlines.
The 2 A310 don't know

The 2 A310's will be parted out in BRU, they are sold as scrap/for parts.
They were sold to an African company which sold them immediately to Van Vliet Sloopwerken BV from The Netherlands who will scrap the planes in BRU. Don't know when this will happen though.

Thank you. I remember the fire department had an old A300 many years ago to train on...
So the 2 ex -airforce A310 will be scrapped, but what with the 3rd (all white)? Who's plane is that then and what will be its fate?

BAF never had 3 A310s. The all white one you have seen might be a HiFly aircraft.

No it's definitely not a HiFly plane: the one I saw looked like it hasn't flown for a while already...

Wow, didn't knew that he was still in BRU. He stood for a long time (since 2007) near h/p 07R. At least its days are then almost over at BRU.Brubiac wrote: The 3th one is OE-LMP former MAP Executive flights Service
