Boeing heads to court to dispute a request from lawyers representing victims of a B737 MAX crash for documents related to the aircraft’s design, development and two fatal disasters.

Another problem for the 737 MAX: Boeing is inspecting all 400 stored B737 MAX for foreign objects in the fuel tanks, after the discovery of foreign debris in some fuel tanks. The inspections are "unlikely" to delay recertification or testing.

Look how well we are working! Finding even the smallest imperfection! Yes, we may have been a bit kludgy yesterday, perhaps, just the faintest tad; today however everything is bright and shiny and perfect!

Every day brings its new issue about the 737 MAX:

FAA proposed that airlines complete inspections on a key component that could make B737 MAX aeroplanes vulnerable to lightning strikes and interference from high-power radiofrequency transmitters before returning to service. Boeing says the proposal isn’t expected to affect mid-2020 return for the grounded jets.

Michael O’Leary said yesterday that Ryanair is in talks with Boeing about ordering more Max 200s, a high-capacity variant of the baseline Max 8 model specified by Ryanair, together with the airline's first batch of bigger Max 10s. The possible order would be delivered between 2024 and 2028.
