FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive for all A320neo family models prompted by a report indicating that Kathon FP 1.5 biocide added to fuel and running through an airplane’s engines can lead to engine performance degradation.

Airbus has found buyers for six aircraft from the A320neo family rejected by AirAsia (Malaysia), as it works off a surplus left by the crisis.

Airbus is confident in its plan to increase the production of the A320 family of jets to a rate of 47 a month in 2021. The company has extensively stress-tested its backlog of orders for the model, and remains comfortable with the strategy.

Boeing (!) called out potential fire-safety issues with the fuel-tank design on the Airbus A321XLR.

Maybe Airbus should start criticising the design of the MCAS in the Boeing 737 MAX? :D
