Flight attendants strike - more than 90% of flights to operate

Monday 31 October 2011
. Very limited disturbances today
. Traffic projected to be higher for November 1, 2011; more than 90% of flights to operate.
. Conflict winding down; two new unions withdraw from strike

For Monday, October 31, 2011, Air France was able to operate more than 90% of its flights, above the 85 % announced yesterday.
No last minute cancellations occurred either at CDG or at Orly.
More than 120,000 passengers will have been transported during the day, close to the normal daily level.
81% of our flights departed with a delay less than 15 minutes.
Long haul aircraft were 82% full, an increase over previous days.
Since the beginning of the strike on Saturday, October 29, Air France has transported more than 350,000 passengers.
For Tuesday, November 1, Air France expects to operate 90% of its flights.

agreement with two more trade unions

Air France is pleased that the CFTC and CFDT trade unions have opted to curtail their on-going strike action.

The Company hails the responsible attitude of the two trade unions, which are to halt their industrial action forthwith.
This good news, which confirms that the action begun last Saturday is losing momentum, is proof that the door to negotiations is never closed with the trade unions.
Concerning this exit from the dispute in particular, the CFDT and CFTC unions have been met, at their request, since the weekend.

They were given details about the decisions agreed between the General Management and UNAC on 25th October.

Which five carriers chartered aircraft to Air France during the strike? And what type of aircraft did they operate?
