Please go back to the very first post here, and read one of the many articles about this story.
Brussels Airlines says it's force majeure - overmacht. It is not. A strike by a private contractor is never "hand of God" (apparently the English term for force majeure / overmacht). A strike by a fuel supplier is damage, caused by a voluntary appointed subcontractor. Even if they all go on strike: it remains a strike by private people. Only a strike by Air Traffic Control, Fire Brigade, Customs or Police is overmacht / force majeure.
Next steps : Brussels Airlines has to reimbourse all costs, including moral indemnity for the tourists who had to go on a 4-day mountain trip without necessary equipment. And Brussels Airlines can reclaim all costs from their fuel supplier who was on strike.
(In Belgian law, only a wildcat strike is seen as force majeure / overmacht).
