If you want to know it now, see http://www.ascendworldwide.com/community.html and scroll down a bit.
Doesn't seem that reliable, there are some orders missing, eg the one from an undisclosed customer for 10 CS100 (and some others)...

33 Sky Landers (otions included) , means that this program has lifted off definitively - I hope for French aviation industry.
Lucky enough for future Kan Air passengers: the flights in the unpressurised airplanes are just short flights.
That plane seems a bit of a competitor for the Twin Otter?

It seems so, although it is some 7000lb heavier. I don't know where all that weight is used for, as max payload is only a few 100kg higher.

Remember Do228 is also starting production again, and C212 is still running. Choice enough for the 19seat market :)

China’s CAS and ICBC Leasing buy 88 Airbus A320 Family aircraft

China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) and ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (ICBC Leasing) have signed agreements with Airbus for a total of 88 A320 Family aircraft.

CAS’s General Terms Agreement (GTA) with Airbus for 88 A320 Family aircraft was signed today in Berlin by Li Hai, President of CAS and Tom Enders, President and CEO of Airbus.

In the frame of this GTA, ICBC Leasing signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 42 A320 Family aircraft. The agreement was signed by Li Xiaopeng, Senior Executive Vice President of ICBC and Chairman of ICBC Leasing, and Tom Enders. This is the first order that ICBC Leasing has placed directly with an aircraft manufacturer. So far ICBC has 68 aircraft in its portfolio. ICBC Leasing is a subsidiary of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the world’s largest bank by market capitalization.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has finalised an agreement with Airbus to acquire 15 more A330-300s. The aircraft will join an existing fleet of 19 A330-300s at the carrier, flying from Singapore to destinations across the Asia-Pacific region and to the Middle East. As with the carrier's existing A330 fleet, the new aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines.

Solar Impulse flight of tomorrow is postponed. The meteo and the traffic restrictions do not allow a safe return to Paris if necessary.

Next flight not before Sunday!

If the forecast weather window holds, Solar Impulse HB-SIA, powered exclusively by solar energy, will take off on Sunday 3 July 2011 for its return flight to Switzerland. Taking off from Paris-Le Bourget the solar airplane will attempt to reach Payerne airfield, landing there at around 19:00 (UTC +2). The aircraft made the most of the sunshine in Paris on Friday morning to recharge its batteries and is now fully charged and ready to go.

The prototype, piloted by André Borschberg, will take off in the morning from Paris-le Bourget and climb to a cruising altitude of 3500 meters. The plane will fly east towards Troyes, will continue to Pontarlier and land at Payerne airfield at the end of the day. Due to heavy air traffic and possible turbulence caused by thermals, Solar Impulse has received permission to take off from Paris at around 07:00 and will land at Payerne sometime after 19:00 (UTC + 2). The solar airplane will cross the border early in the afternoon and will fly at an altitude of 1500 meter over the region of Payerne and Murten while waiting to land.

The flight team always puts safety first and therefore decided to delay Friday's planned flight due to unstable weather. The flight director and his team will assist the pilot on Sunday from Mission Control in Payerne.

Track the European Solar Flights Live!
The flight can be followed live on www.solarimpulse.com and via the Smartphone app “Solar Impulse Inventing the Future”, available free on Appstore and Androïd Market. The airplane’s position, altitude and speed will be shown live and cameras fitted inside the cockpit and in the “Mission Control Center”, the mission’s nerve center, will allow you to experience the adventure live.

Although the flight has been confirmed, the Flight Director may still decide to postpone it or alter the route up until a short time before takeoff. Keep up to date with the latest news on www.solarimpulse.com.
