The facade of the terminal, departure hall, is under renovation.

The side wall, next to this one of the Deloitte building, is already finished. This is done in the same stone as the Deloitte building.

Now the front part is under renovation

Renovation of the facade?

Is there any global plan/new design for the terminal? What architect designed it? Where are the renders?

Instead of an overall ambitious plan they will 'renovate' bit by bit without any global approach?

Please tell me I'm wrong.

Pictures available ??

Hopefully it will be more than some 'make up'.
And hopefully in harmony with rest of the Terminal buildng ??

It is in harmony of course. The front side will be in the same style as the Deloitte and KPMG building.

Thats why from the air side we also have the same style. Dark blue windows in the new renovated Skyhall, like at Deloitte and KPMG

Regarding the terminal itself, there will be a prolonging of the terminal in the direction where the former DHL building was. But this is still under reservation.

Does this mean that the entire front facade (everything we can see on below picture) will have a unified, 'glass' look?

I would say: finally! But I would add a beautiful roof structure like this one below. This would give the airport a much needed, modern look!

A little change in the shareholders of BRU. Two new shareholders are added to the portfolio. We have now for the first time a Japanese investor and a second Australian shareholder.
The Australian State Investor TCorp and the Government pension investment fund of Japan took over a part of Ontario Teachers. They claimed that they are still the biggest shareholder.

More variety and new chances.

Brussels Airport has released what is in my mind the single biggest mistake ever...
https://btag.brusselsairport.be/en
-it tries to generate additional revenue due to baggage handling taking a very long time. In other words, there will be no incentive in the future to speed up baggage handling! It's openly admitting there's room for improvement in handling times yet they solve it with completely the wrong approach
-only works at BRU airport
-relax and drink a coffee whilst waiting for your bag? Where? Still in Terminal A, to then walk 10 minutes after you got the message your bag is there? As the pick up area does not have any shops or bars, where would you "relax and wait" coming from eg non-Schengen?

The person who pitched this should get a lesson in Customer Experience
