Nope, the Dash8 became AOG @ BRU the day before. An Airbus, carrying the spare parts, was sent the next day but if had to make an emergency stop @ FRA...

15h00 : Casper shows some 4 incoming flights in holding (BA from LHR, IB from MAD, SN from MAD, PGT from ...).

The IB from MAD even seems to be diverting to AMS and the SN from MAD seems to be diverting to LGG.

The reason is probably a runway change for landings (I just saw the BAW establishing RWY02)
However OO-SSC seems to have been diverted to LGG

Brussels Airlines OO-DJS, performing flight SN2307 from Brussels to Stockholm Bromma, is circling around between Antwerpen en Herentals at about 3250 ft before returning to BRU.

07/06 : Looks like Corendon flight CAI208 AMS-ESB (TC-TJB B737-3Q8) diverted to BRU with suspected undercarriage problems. Made a low pass over 25R at 1620lt, was checked OK by airport inspection then got vectors to come back for a normal landing on 25R at 1633lt.

Alitalia A319 LIN-BRU near Geneva on Jun 27th 2011, burning smell on board

An Alitalia Airbus A319-100, registration EI-IMF performing flight AZ-148 from Milan Linate (Italy) to Brussels (Belgium), was enroute at FL340 about 50nm northeast of Geneva (Switzerland) when one of the crew donned the oxygen mask, the crew subsequently reported a burning smell on board and decided to divert to Geneva. The aircraft landed safely on Geneva's runway 23 about 15 minutes later.

Following checks the aircraft was able to continue the flight and reached Brussels with a delay of 4 hours

Hi,
This morning around 6h20, while waiting for my LX flight to ZRH, I noticed a 747F of Saoudian making a go around while approaching 25R. The plane was already very low. He returned 10 minutes later and landed apparently without any problems on 25R.
Anybody knowing the reason for this go-around?
