But with Olympic cutting it's morning/noon flight, they still have the morning/noon flight operated by Aegean and the evening flights operated by Olympic and SN. With SN adding an extra daily flight in S11, the total will be 4 daily flights operated by Olympic/Aegean and SN.

Any idea about the 3 next possible new routes to be open by SN? Still no news on the US side with their own metal?

Corendon announced that they will launch more flights between Turkey and Brussels/Roterdam/Amsterdam. Their charter flights this summer (1 737 based in BRU, 2 in AMS) were very succesfull (especially Brussels-Eskisehir, Amsterdam-Sivas and Amsterdam-Elazig).

The airline will start next year scheduled flights from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Turkey's Istanbul and the southern resort city of Antalya as well as direct flights from Brussels to Trabzon and Malatya in June-September period.

So we can expect even more Corendon flights in S11 than S10. But I don't know if that's good news for travellers. :P

Flights are still not loaded but word from the GSA is that there will be flights beyond the Winter season!

MEA are offering double miles on the route in October and November which could indicate a dip in loads between the Summer season and the Christmas-New Year holidays.

Nonetheless, they are now touting the Beirut-Brussels-Africa agreement with Brussels Airlines on their homepage and in this press release:

That's nice. :D
It shows that this route is really working (especially in summer). I assume the connections with AFI are important for AC.

Not only connections to AFI but there is a huge O&D to Canada ex-BRU. Air Transat is showing this already for years now. Their load factor is always very high (read: 95%).

I'm still wondering when we will see a separate Toronto (AC) service or Vancouver (TS) service.

Transat will operate 4 weekly flights to YUL ex-BRU, it seems that they changed their mind ;)

Very good of them. They can compete against AC. The market is there and I expect more, in general speaking.

As from next summer season Brussels Airlines will launch scheduled services to Agadir, Marrakesh and Lamezia Terme. These flights will be in cooperation with Club Med. They will fly once a week on Saturday or Sunday.
Best regards,

SN will indeed bring to the market 3 of the 10 Club Med destinations as regular flights: its a nice little expansion of the network and it adds a new country to the list of African countries where SN is present on own metal: Marokko.

BTW, LX is also serving AGA and RAK once a week already on Fridays if I am not mistaken
