"A new “euro-white” livery for Brussels Airlines" is your title. That, without the question mark, is fake news. Are you happy with the confusion you cause with your article here and on other websites? Really?

It is not fake news: one aircraft sports that livery.

This morning, Wencke Lemmes, VP Comm of Brussels Airlines, confirmed to me that all widebodies of Brussels Airlines will get that new livery without the light blue bottom, making it easier to shift them within the Lufthansa group.

Hey
What's happening with the blue coming from the tail to the fuselage?
Hasta la victoria siempre.

Not sure yet, but likely to disappear.

I hope not! What's the point in keeping the brand Brussels Airlines, if they give it an unfinished livery?? When they go for the brand, they should go all the way by giving it a decent livery.

The blue tail has to be extended on the fuselage, with -preferably- lager titles too.

Btw, I'm quite sure they will do this. They just decided to keep the brand and to 'save' SN from EW so it's probably too early to know what their plans are with the livery. Give them some more time.

The thing is, within the LH group you have two airlines with a white/blue colorscheme (LH, SN) and two white/red (LX, OS). Getting them all a white fulesage makes it easier and more cost effective to change aircraft within the group when they'd only have to paint the tail and the titles. But it would mean LH and OS have to skip their respective colors on the fuselage as well.

Got the same from chats with Cabin Crews on SN flights earlier this week.
"Euro White" across the LH Empire, with the aim of easing A/C transfers between the airlines. No idea concerning the lower part of tail though.
Similar approach for Flight Crews "interchangeability", leading to communications in English only (when Capt Speaking is the driver, not Capt Shy as often the case :( )
Also, confident that the future outside of the EW "umbrella" looks good. Wait and see for the turnaround plan but fairly satisfied of frequent communication coming from CF.

Fingers crossed.

But will they really need it? LH does not operate second-hand aircrafts while there is a lot of such ones in OS. I really doubt that LH will take such A32S.

Completely off-topic, but for clarification (source Wikipedia):

Gender in English

Modern English retains features relating to natural gender, namely the use of certain nouns and pronouns (such as he and she) to refer specifically to persons or animals of one or other genders and certain others (such as it) for sexless objects – although feminine pronouns are sometimes used when referring to ships (and more uncommonly some airplanes and analogous machinery) and nation states.

According to FR24, OO-SFF arrived on July 23 at 18:40.
Any pictures available of the plane in Brussels?

Duke
