OO-SFC will fly for SN, not EW. Must be a mistake of Skyliner. Preparations are fully ongoing at SN to have it in commercial operations as from June.

How about the interior of this plane? Still the SQ interior, or already the (new) Brussels Airlines interior?

The first Singapore one (msn 1010 - SFE) is going into storage until the new cabin is going to be fitted, at the end of this year.
SFC (MSN 895) is going to fly for Brussels Airlines this summer, in Brussels Airlines c/s. The Skyliner source seems to be incorrect.

In other news, rumours are that no more A340 will be added for the "Eurowings operated by Brussels Airlines" operation, but more ex-LH A330 instead.

Will it be to add frequencies on some lines or replace one plane with another one ? If you can share information obviously!

As from June some existing routes will get an additional frequency until the end of the season (IAD to daily, +1 on ACC-LFW and I believe +1 on EBB-KGL), but that's more a replacement of the 3 flights lost on FIH.

No old A330 will leave immediately (not until the end of the summer season), but by adding OO-SFC already in June it will definitely relieve pressure from the heavily utilized and ageing existing long haul fleet.

By the end of the year another 'new' A333 will join (the first with the new cabin) and then some others will follow before the start of the summer peak of 2019 (actually replacing current A330's). So in winter there should be a bit less pressure on the widebody fleet anyway and as from summer 2019 the fleet should be a lot more reliable again with several of the 'old ladies' already gone by then.

Btw, for the picture above of the future OO-SFE. There's still OO-SFD in between (the 3rd ex-Cathay aircraft) and I believe that's the one joining at the end of this year as the first with new cabin and OO-SFE will start cabin retrofit at the end of the year but start flying only as from Jan or Feb 2019. Not 100% sure about that though.

Also, SFB is planned to transfer to SN at the end of the year. Including a repaint, it will however not get the new interior for the time being.

Brussels Airlines took delivery of one A330-300, serial 1010, ex-Singapore Airlines 9V-STF, leased from DVB Bank (Germany).

Sorry, I was a little too quick as I wanted to warn the spotters. It looks like they're merely moving it on the ground, maybe to help dry the paint. :) ;)

Yeap, FRA it is...our new National Airport!

Hostage? Psychological gesture towards SN employees? CS wrath?

Can anyone confirm that there is a sixth Sukhoi active for SN?

I think so, but many not all at the same time. FWA was parked in Venice for some time, but I saw it (on FR24) doing several SN flights in the last few days.

I think it only acts as a stand in, in case one of the other ones is not available. Last week FWE was out of action, and maybe still is...

It headed to FRA for some last entry into service maintenance, and it is in the SN livery, so that website was quite right from the beginning:

Again a mistake in the design of the b-tail: the b is completely closed instead of leaving a void !!! See the difference?

Funny thing: according to the info I have/remember, that's as per the design drawing. It always struck me as odd, but the drawing showed that the "B" was to be open on the left hand side, and closed on the right hand side of the aircraft. (at least for A330)

Just seen on FR24 (sorry if reported before) :

OO-SFD, A333, 44CCC4, s/n 959, B-LAI Cathay.
OO-SFE, A333, 44CCC5, s/n 1010, ex 9V-STF, Singapore.
OO-SFF, A333, 44CCC6, s/n 1132, ex 9V-STD, Singapore.
OO-SFG, A333, 44CCC7, s/n 983, ex 9V-STB, Singapore.
OO-SFH, A333, 44CCC8, s/n 679, ex B-LAC, Cathay.

All the above reported by FR24 as "BEL". Only SFB is reported as "EWG".

Factual info : a Belgian reg.
remains to see them in SN livery and then I'll start seeing things more positively.
