Already mentioned in the "Brussels Airport: Monthly figures 2010"-topic, but still interesting:

Some interesting information inthe latest report of mapairports:

"In addition, Montenegro Airlines has announced a three
weekly service to Podgorica from December 2010"

If this is correct it will be the second long haul flight for Hong Kong Airlines after the Moscow flight.
Flight will be operated by an A330 is suppose.
December 15 and not a single airplane of Hong Kong Airlines showed up. 11 pages and 202 posts of 'what we think will come to BRU', but not a single word of airlines and routes that did not show up.

Perhaps a good idea to start a new topic: 'BRU winter 2010/2011: latest no-shows' ?

I thought that Hong Kong Airlines (cargo) postponed the launch until early 2011. Hence no aircraft yet. But lets wait and see. Pax aircraft were just a rumor (although a link to Hong Kong would be nice)!

Actually the strangest was the announcement of the daily BRU-NRT route flown by NH. Announced by NH (Belgium) itself and picked up by respected media but withdrawn sooner than it was released

It was a very wild rumor, based on nothing. Funny thing was that HKA had even no long haul to organise these flights. Only now they have some A330 to organise long haul. Besides the GSA announced at that time that it was not possible to organise such flights.
Wait and see

Is it correct that Hainan Airlines is codesharing with SN on the FCO route ?

If you check Hainan's booking engine you can see that several European destinations are offered on Malèv, Air Berlin and Brussels Airlines flights. Altough I don't know if this is an interline agreement or a codeshare (or something else I don't know).

Seasonal for the moment due to lack of a/c. Maybe with the huge UA 777 fleet...

Hard to say with Continental the last couple of months/years. They changed their plans a lot before making it official or before they get permission.

My guess is that it will be seasonally but you never know...

BRU-IAD will go down to a 763ER again during summer... So I don't think UA has any 772's on spare at the moment...

Air Vallee will only serve Angers ex-BRU and not a combination with Bern.

They are also going to start 2 weeks earlier then foreseen. First flight will be on 30.01 with two flights a week and this on Wednesday and Sunday.
As of 14.02 they will upgrade this to 4 flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

According to the latest, Sky Work Airlines ops by Air Vallee will start new flights to Angers on 16.02 and not today or, as previously announced, 2 weeks earlier.

Also the timetable is changed with an arrival at BRU at 15h.
