Very nice, very complete, thanks for sharing!
Especially interesting to me: the radio frequencies of the ground handlers, this is rare information. Would anyone have these for the otther Belgian airports? Particularly curious about VLM at Deurne/EBAW/ANR, and if there's any in EBKT/ Kortrijk Wevelgem - not very likely, but perhaps Abelag?

instead of the foreseen LGG-PRN 3/7 and LGG-TIA 2/7 for the coming summer season, it will be 4/7 for both destinations :D :D

The Flemish gov is trying everything to forbid the lengthening of the track (the work is already in good progress, should be over in 2010). André Antoire, walloon minister in charge of the airports is chocked and let everybody know in a belga news : "Kris Peeters is complaining that Wallonia has a bad economy but in the same time he is trying to destroy any efforts to create business".
Note that 11% of the workers in LGG are from Flanders.
More than 20% of the pax are from Flanders.

You can be sure it's not the end of it.
There is no way we could have real neutral "negotiation" for the evolution of the country, of the regions, for the good of all, if everybody doesn't make efforts.

Acid-drop, I have a solution: Flanders withdraws its objection ...

- if the Walloon government aks an environment & noise report for the Flemish cities who will get the (extra) noise from the (extra) wide bodies taking off from LGG. Report which Antoine had to ask before the works started.

- the Walloon representatives within the board of the SNCB/NMBS/B-Rail finally agree on the extension of the railway lines to/from Antwerp-harbour. B-Rail needs the signatures from the board members from the south to start the railway extensions in Antwerp.

- the Walloon representatives install the same severe noise restrictions for LGG as they did for BRU. Noise restrictions which chased away DHL to Leipzig and TNT to ... LGG.

Futhermore, please note that apart from Flanders, some 10 environment groups have also filed a protest.

And finally: now you have the feeling we (in the north) have because a change of law - which the Constitutional Court has ordered - is blocked by the south, for the 4th time already.

conclusion : stupidity comes from both sides. So what ? should we be proud of it ? this country is a shame.
Btw, it's impossible to compare LGG and BRU, we tried many times here and the only things we agreed were the huge differences between the 2, thus differents laws and capabilities.

With all due respect, I have very little belief that the Constitutional Court is objective in this whole north-south stupidity thing.

My solution, go back to an absolute monarchy where the ruler decides for the interests of his people and economic prosperity of his country... :D

Politicians in this country have proven they are not able to manage anything efficiently. be they from the North or the South. All they are interested in is local fame or continuing to benefit from their acquired advantages. None have vision to lead Belgium, Flanders or Wallonia to an era of international prosperity.

Yes, stupidity comes from both sides... This country has become a shame...

And then we end up speaking all french... (our royals hardly speak Flamish)
Do not forget that only since flamisch politicians got a grip on the parlement we finaly got rid of the french rulers that ruled over Flamisch speaking people. And by doing this we finaly again got prosperes again.

It's a basic history lesson you got in first grade middle school.
