It took off from FXW (Hamburg Finkenwerder) around 14h45. So, possibly yes.

What a milestone for european aviation! Look at that tailfin while on take-off run...it's just massive! An airplane of superlatives!

I can confirm that it flew slightly east abeam Ghent at that time. I saw it west of Evere trailing heavily at fl400
