It can take up to mid november before the M&M mileage is adapted.

PS: Spoke to one of the Amex guys in the airport and he told me in 2010 Amex will issue a M&M SN Amex card to replace the current ones.

I still hope that a Mastercard or Visa card will be available as wel...

Good. Hope it will be a little less cheap looking than the current one.

I received publicity from AMEX in my mailbox (the real one 8-) , not email) stating they will be sending out the new Brussels Airlines M&M AMEX during the first months of 2010.

There would be advantages and disadvantages to switching to Miles&More. The first disadvantage I have just been faced with is after a return flight with b.air in b.flex to Stockholm. I was no longer credited 1250 miles x 2, but 750 miles X 2. Did we not always get 1250 miles for each b.flex flights independently form the fare category flown ?
Now only B & Y fares get 1250 miles, HKMQVT get you 750 miles. Have I missed an announcement informing us about these changes ? BTW I knew that b.light would go down from 250 to 125 miles.
In favor of quality air travel.

If you go on Miles&More/promotion, you will find a 1250 miles promotion for B.flex on Brussels Airlines.

Another disadvantage is that now you will need 30,000 miles to book a flight, instead of 20,000, except if you book less than 14 days in advance, in which case you will need only 15,000 miles.
