SkyEurope's flight NE3677 from Brussels to Vienna was supposed to leave at 20h10, but the incoming plane from VIE is only expected at 00h10. The outgoing flight therefore is announced as delayed till 00h30. So far, so good: it's not the first delayed flight out of Brussels these days...

But reliable sources like Reuters and Associated Press mention that Flughaven Wien will no longer serve outgoing NE-flights after today, 24h00. Incoming NE-flights in VIE will be handled.

So it seems that we'll have another weekend with stranded passengers.

Meanwhile, there seems to rest a curse on JAF flight 5147 to Rhodes, as the plane which was supposed to fly there today... returned to Brussels. It departed at 17.20 LT (ETD 17.15) and was back at the gate at 18.24. The new ETD is set for 22.00. And believe it or not, it was OO-VAC (according to ACARS logs).
Believe it or not, but our 10-year old boy was on that flight again.
We could convince him to go on board for a holiday in Rhodos with a couple of days delay.
The whole family went on board. After 1,5h flight exactly the same story again: return to Brussels due to a technical problem. No way we get this kid back on board for a third attempt.
So the whole family is missing this trip

Yep, the incoming Bejing, ETA 05h30 is announced as delayed arrival till 19h26.

However, the outgoing HU492 for ETD 13h50 is announced as normal departure. BRU normally announces huge delays by an interval of 5 minutes when a delayed flight isn't airborne yet. The exact arrival time, onto the minute, is only announced when the aircraft is airborne. Example: 19h25 or 19h30 when the flight isn't airborne yet, 19h26 once the flight is en route.

So my guess: the 19h26 is a computer error. Caused by all the delays in BRU on Thursday, Friday and Saturday...

Outgoing TAY2801 - ETD 10h30 - has just been changed from 737 into 320.

And delayed from 10h30 into 16h15...

The flight TO Corfu diverted to LGG between Venice and Bolzano.
It had a technical problem that prevented them to continue to CFU.

BEL62V and CSA63A too.
What kind of crazy fog (smog?) on a sunny day could prevent landing ? I guess it's linked to the work on the tracks ?

You actually use that contraption for going to work? (or did you go shopping at the said D...) I always believed it served only for parading your offspring!

Two incoming flights into BRU were diverted around 18h30: Iberia 3214 and LOT 233.

Because of a local thunderstorm, I assume ?

Anyone knows where the IBE diverted to? A friend of mine was supposed to take the flight IB3205 back to Madrid.

Edit: Paris Orly it seems :| Flight IBE324D departed at Orly 22:20 to Brussels.
