KLM will replace it's Fokker 50, 70, 100
According to the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad, KLM will replace all of it's Fokkers. First, they will replace the Fokker 100 by the Embraer 190. Later they will replace it's Fokker 50's and 70's. KLM finds them too expensive to operate.

Was hoping to see the F50's go first but according to what I found on the KLM site that's not going to happen anytime soon...
IMHO the F50 is a great aircraft for an airline like VLM and a route like BRU-LCY where there's not a lot of luggage but for KLM on the BRU-AMS route for instance where all pax have connecting flights and loads and loads of luggage it's just a nightmare
little F50 rant done, some info from the KLM site:

No, but their first E-190 is flying in from Brasil on Monday 10th November. First revenue flight is on 17th November.euroflyer wrote:As far as I am aware they have the frist Embraer 190's already in service?
Just today, L-nieuws gives much much more info about KLM's Fokker & Embraer fleet. It's really worth reading it:
In Dutch:

In English (translated through translate.google.com):

(Rekkof: KLM hasn't heard nothing from them since last year...)

As KLC staff, we're getting the opportunity to visit the E190 on the 17th, before it goes into operation. Really looking forward to that, it is certainly going to be different then our fokkers!
