THY's regional flights manager Mr.Alan has made a statement during the ceremony of launching Ankara-Damascus flights yesterday. He said that THY's low cost arm Anadolu Jet will be launching more domestic and international flights from AJ's base Ankara airport:
From June this year they will be launching Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Tehran, Kopenhag, Stockholm as well as Bodrum, Denizli, Dalaman and Bursa (all domestic) flights.
He added that towards the end of this year flights to London, Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels will be also launched.
THY also sent a statement to Istanbul Stock Exchange stating that they have leased 2 off B737-700 from BOC Aviation company for to be delivered this month and next month. According to unconfirmed information these aircraft will be used on Anadolu Jet destinations.

Flying Chef
THY is starting the "Flying Chef" concept in their long distance destinations. It is said that the flights to New York already has the service where the First and Business Class passengers catered by the Flying Chef. It is understood Chicago and Tokyo flights will be the next flights where this new service will be introduced.

Thanks SN26567...I have been slack lately..... Recently,THY has also informed the Istanbul Stock Exchange that they have intention to start Istanbul-Podgorica and Istanbul-Nahchevan flights based on availability aircraft from its fleet.
