Delta will fly to ROB as the first US carrier since a log time... If you have ever been to Monrovia (ROB), you will understand that I am wondering what they think about local infrastructure... How will they cope with all security breaches over there? And ofcourse, what will this mean to SN? This is the first major competitor because lot's of passengers on SN's flights to ROB are coming from US carriers.

Re: Delta to fly from ATL to Monrovia (ROB) via Cape Verde (SID)
I am wondering which type of aircraft they will use.
And also why would the stop at SID be necessary ?
And what frequency they will start with ? ...
It is true that a direct flight from the US to ROB is much shorter than through BRU.
Still SN can offer a good fallback (or second line) alternative
Btw I agree with the use of city codes , myself I like to check some of them on the web (and have a look at the airport's data at the same time
Best regards
Christophe

DL214 ATL1510 - 0215+1SID0320+1 - 0705+1ROB
