On another topic, Air Malta has added its KM code to Brussels Airlines services between Catania and Brussels. Why such a strange move?

Well, Air Malta is another strategic partner of LH, so therefore probably the cooperation here. I would guess Air Malta has a service from Malta to Catania and the SN flight can than serve as a connection flight??
