BRU: 02/20 closed for maintenance from 01 till 21 Sept 2008

As from today, 25R/07L is again open for take offs (as from 14h) and landings (as from 18h). The runway was closed since 04 Aug. Taxiways have been larged.

02-20 will now be closed, also for annual maintenance, from 1st till 21st September 2008.

Although RWY 25R/07L is still shortened for takeoffs and landings. Threshold 25R is displaced and takeoff is from B3 iso B1. For the heavies who need more runway, 25L is still available for takeoff.

The B757 of El Al was the first one to depart again from 25R this afternoon.

Not all construction works are finished. The taxiways around Abelag and those to Brucargo (not all of course) are still under construction.

02/20 should be in use again since today (Saturday) morning.

02 was already in use on Friday evening around 8:30PM.
We landed with the Easyjet flight from GVA on 02 around this time.

Just arrived in Warsaw on LO232 this morning, took off on a very nice looking, smooth 25R! Greeting from grey,wet Poland
