It's not Brussels Airlines because they said they will decide about their short-haul fleet mid 2008.
Flybaboo already flies the Q400.
Don't think it'll be AF-KLM because of their recent Embraer-order.
On A.net somebody says it will be LOT.
What about VLM?
They've tested the BAe 146-300 for a while now, and maybe they've come to the conclusion that jets is to expensive for them, but they need speed to expand.
What about some a UK-regional?

VERY doubtful, LOT has ATR turboprops, E17x jets, and has just presented it's plans for the future, which includes a standardized fleet with just 4 plane models (787, 737, E175, ATR). It would make no sense whatsoever to suddenly go and buy Q400s.Gliderpilot wrote: On A.net somebody says it will be LOT.

Indeed, LOT gave their ATRs to their 100% subsidiary euroLOT, which in turn operates them exclusively for LOT to carry out various regional LOT flights. In their future plans euroLOT will operate the ATRs on domestic flights exclusively, and HAM-GDN will probably be flown with the E175.chrisflyer wrote:Of course they do. LOT and its subsidiary euroLOT operate a mix of ATR-42s and -72s. I use them on a regular basis on WAW-GDN or HAM-GDN.LOT doesn't operate the ATR anymore, but for the rest I agree with you
Cheers,
Chris
Here is a pdf of the presentation of LOT's strategy for 2008-2012.

I found a very interesting quote from Johan Vanneste on the internet (Via A.net, who quoted Airliner World). Quote is from Dec 06.
"The company [VLM] remains in the evaluation stage and does not intend to make a formal decision over its futrure fleet until next year at the earliest"
link, reply 34.
