AF has recently published a very impressive winter season schedule for their African operations, proof of the importance this continent has to the French airline....

BTW- all of the above routes, but for 3 weekly flights are served NON-STOP!
Maybe SN should get itself some real shareholders (aka INVESTORS), lease a few new wide body planes and open some of the AF destinations as new SN destinations...
Or A319ERs, they seem to open up quite a lot of exotic and possibly high yielding destinations to AF, with the added benefit of offering high frequencies too...
Surely it can't be that tricky to serve let's say COO (which currently sees 5 weekly AF services) or LBV (4 weekly services) twice weekly for instance?

No need to really, since posts on public forums are free sources, contrary to copywrited material.RCV wrote: Not quite appropriate to copy-paste this info from Airliners.net. Next time, please put some credits to the original sources:

Also, the discussion there is about AF's intercontinental network, whereas here it is focussed on the opportunities SN should read in it, notably in Africa...
The SN African network is no match compared to AK/KLM..
On top, quite often are the flights to the same destination cheaper on AF/KLM ex BRU -via CDG or AMS- than on SN.
I compared Nairobi on both airlines and AF was nearly 200 € less expensive in Y class..
As long as SN don't add more A330's to their fleet, they will remain handicaped.Nor resiliance in Interconti-networks can cost you clients and important traveller's recommendations.
Been discussed to death here-but they should have ordered or leased one year ago at least three more aircraft for the African operations.
In three years time Swiss will be ahead of SN in Africa !

Hmm, it's sad that SN hasn't got any more A319's to serve West-Africa...tolipanebas wrote: NKC : 5 x Weekly A319ER
