Does someone know how high the loadfactor is for daily SN flight to and from Paris?
Is that flight not too big for the segment?
Are there so much french people who fly to Africa on SN flights?
Thank you very much.

I agree... as i would love to fly SN on their european network !Buzz wrote:So they pretty much never had a loadfactor over 40-50 %? They must get some good yields on those africa flights to compensate for this lossmaking flight...
Why don't they open the flight up to non-CDG-Africa trafic? Could earn them some extra cash.

When trying to book a seat on the BRU-CDG flight on Friday June 8, a b.light ticket is offered at 142.99 Euro. It is like you said, earning some extra cash. A cheap ticket isn't what they are looking for as you can not call them a high speed train competitor (because of just 1 daily connection). So those who really want to fly can buy a ticket and SN is happy enough as they can sell it with a profit.
Which agreement are you talking about?FLY4HOURS.BE wrote:Damn that governemental agreement!!

There is only one destination from Brussels where the plane cannot compete anymore with the high speed train: Paris. Even from where I live in NE Brussels only 10 minutes from the airport, Thalys is the best option to go to Paris city, every half hour a train that travels within 1h20, and to CDG several times per day in just 1h15. No plane can beat that on such a short distance.FLY4HOURS.BE wrote:I rather fly to CDG than take that nasty Thalys thing...
It would be more reliable (Thalys has always delays and is influenced by other traffic) and alot cheaper...
Damn that governemental agreement!!
