OPO-BRU begins from 15 Sept, daily flight with F100 as follow :

Does anyone know it it is true that EY will be stopping its co-operation and code-share flights with SN as from the winter season ? If this is true, does anyone know the reason ? (the disappearance of Business class on b.air and the poor in-flight service on b.air's European routes ?)

The EY flights to AUH do have both EY/SN codes, but no single European SN flight does have an EY codeshare, so could this really be the reason? I don't think so.

Etihad posted today the press release with the announcement of the worldwide increase of flights starting 28 October. It's very funny to read that BRU is not mention. On their timetable you could see that BRU will have its extra fourth flight. But I found this a big mistake of etihad not mentioning Brussels in their release. Is BRU a second hand airport or country for them??

They're increasing flights to some 17 destinations. They're not going to mention every single one in the press release. Don't read too much into it.

Yes, it is. Member Brubiac gave on page 2 of this topic an overview what we could expect this winter.

But, it is still uncertain what KRK will do. It could be that flights to and from this airport will stop.

Valencia is not longer a destination for Brussels Airlines. It was already a rumor for weeks but is now definite. As from the new winter timetable, no Valencia.

Vueling will be the only player on this route.

And of course Ryanair offer Charleroi - Valencia. I know it's not direct competition, but competition nonetheless.

Another good news for BRU: Ethiopian will be doubling the current service to BRU going from three weekly flights to six weekly flights!
Three flights are still routed via CDG while the other three are routed via FRA.

wow, you know if there will be any chance to just fly the FRA-BRU or BRU-FRA leg on their metal? Will it maybe even be LH codeshare (they announced some months ago to cooperate between Ethiopian and LH). Would be a good ooportunity for me to add another carrier to my statistics

If I understand it correctly, current flight ET706 ADD-FRA-AMS will be rerouted ADD-FRA-BRU. This flight is currently operated by B763 3x a week on --3-5-7.

Together with our current ET704 ADD-CDG-BRU on -2-4-6- , this would make a -234567 operation.

So :

ET704 ADD-CDG-BRU -2-4-6-
ET706 ADD-FRA-BRU --3-5-7

That's what I think. ETA's/ETD's of the ET706 will probably be quite similar to the current ET704 as ET706 now arrives at AMS at 08:00 in the morning.
