Egyptair Operating a B762

Post by airmemphis »

According to Amadeus.net, Egyptair are operating a B762 on:

1. MS125/124 (Cairo-Sharm El Sheikh-Cairo) on 02/01/07 and
2. MS123/124 (Cairo-Sharm El Sheikh-Cairo) on 03/01/07

Anyone know any information on the source of this aircraft. I assume it is a short term measure perhaps due to the Hajj.

p.s. Egyptair got rid of their last B762ER in 1997.

Maybe its EC-JOZ of Bravo Airlines. They use the B762 for charters for other companies

Now it would be great to get confirmation of that, if it's true.

Is saw last week in the DB a flight of Egyptair operated bij Bravo Airlines with their B762 to BRU. After some time it was removed, probably it was operated by their own metal.

So does that mean it was an error? So we're not any closer to an aswer yet.

The B767 should be EC-JOZ, was on 29 Dec due for EBBR but cancelled in favour of A320.

Do you know the configuration of EC-JOZ? Amadeus shows both C and Y classes.
