New Jetair flights from Ostend

Very good news indeed... If only they would have the people to crew those new aircraft!
My best friend works for them and she's really down... apparently the big exodus has started with Brussels Airlines recruiting and on top of that, they cannot find the (unexperienced) people they need! JAF is facing a very hard, long summer if you ask me. They will already have a hard time crewing the existing fleet, let alone the 3 extra aircraft. And this is the case for both pilots and cabin crew.

I really hope they don't use the 2 leased Futura-airplanes at Ostend this summer.
Let's hope for the new 737-800 at Ostend airport. :)
Those Futura-planes are really old and many people think they are not safe anymore.
I flew with a futura-plane from Ostend to Gran Canaria and was a bit disapointed about those planes.
If they want more people flying with jetairfly in Ostend, they must use good planes.

Saw a Jetair holiday brochure for this summer today and in the intro of the brochure they also mentioned they have 737-500 in their fleet.JAFflyer wrote:It's true about the 737-500
As far as my information is correct, the new 737-800's would be registered OO-JF?, so the first one could be OO-JFA and the second OO-JFB ...

This is what happens when you treat people like s***. And they are not the only one to so in Belgium.avi8tor wrote:Very good news indeed... If only they would have the people to crew those new aircraft!
