jet airways
I don't think it's because the Belgium delegation was in India, that Jet Airways will fly Belgium.
At Sabena Technics, they know it already since beginning of octobre that they will come... Because Sabena Technics will do the line maintenance.
grtz

Anyone heard about Jet's plans to open a base in BRU ?? I know it sounds strange but some SN pilots leave (or will) their company in the purpose of flying for Jet but ---> based in BRU !
Also, some Sabena Technics engineers will soon be trained to work on the 777. Even though the A332 is the likely type to operate the BOM-BRU-EWR line at first...
Any info is welcome.
Your DJ.

As far as I know they always had foreseen a B777 to fly the route Bom-BRU-EWR. But know that there will be two aircrafts a day of Jet Airways at Brussels Airport. About the base: it's already a rumour of some weeks or months ago. The job application of Jet Airways on the Brussels Airport site said something like that. But like I said, that was weeks ago.
It's waiting about something official of Jet itselfs about that.

Hello
Sounds great. I can't wait. We are already waiting for two years now , so halleluyah when they come the first time!!!
Didn't knew they also flew straight to Amritsar from Europe or is that with a stop in between? (the destination always reminds me of the Indian Airlines (IC ...)A300 highjacking. ).
Best regards: Yannick

Brussels Airport site to update
Maybe now the airport should put the direct flight at the top of the list and remove the useless list of connections like for other destinations that are linked directly with Brussels.
Also, they ought to put a 777 description page! You get a page not found when you click on the type 777. What a pitty!

Re: Brussels Airport site to update
I think they will do that. They have it also done for Detroit and Philadelphia.BrightCedars wrote:Maybe now the airport should put the direct flight at the top of the list and remove the useless list of connections like for other destinations that are linked directly with Brussels.
Oeps, didn't see that. So does this mean they have all the permissions. Not yet loaded in Bru'Air website ...lumumba wrote:Hi Danny VDB.
They change already to 05/08 on the Bru site.

Patrice
The most interesting (first) day to spot them would be on 6/08 (flight from Newark and one from Mumbai), no?
Regards,
Danny
