PIA capacity changes to various destinations

With summer 2006 schedule:

747-300

OSLO - 1 x weekly > replacing A310
COPENHAGEN - 1 x weekly > replacing A310
LONDON - all flights from Lahore and Islamabad > replacing 777ER
MUMBAI - 2 x weekly > replacing 74M

747-200M

HOUSTON - all services > replacing 777ER
DHAKA - 2 x weekly > replacing A310

777-200LR

TORONTO - all services > replacing 777ER
NEW YORK - some if not all flights from the three main gateways > replacing 743

777-200ER

OSLO - 1 x weekly > replacing A310
COPENHAGEN - 1 x weekly > replacing A310
FRANKFURT - all services > replacing A310
AMSTERDAM - 1 x weekly > replacing A310
JEDDAH - 2 x weekly from Karachi > replacing 743
DELHI - 2 x weekly from Karachi > replacing 743
KUALA LUMPUR - 2 x weekly > replacing A310
SINGAPORE - 2 x weekly > replacing A310

A310

HONG KONG - all services > replacing 74M
BANGKOK - all flights from Islamabad > replacing 74M

New schedule has been revised further as below:

NORTH AMERICA

New York services with 777LR rerouted via Manchester, previously shown as nonstop from Pakistan.

UK

Glasgow goes nonstop with flights only from Lahore, previously shown as via Dubai, Islamabad route terminated.

SCANDINAVIA

Oslo and Copenhagen not to get 777ER as shown in earlier schedule.

SAUDI ARABIA

Jeddah gets two additional 777ER flights raising the number to four all from Karachi.

SOUTH EAST ASIA

Kuala Lumpur and Singapore not to get 777ER as shown in earlier schedule.

Means the aircraft is a Mixed passenger and cargo version carrying 5-7 palettes of freight right behind the passenger cabin on the main deck, besides the under belly cargo, it has a large loading door behind the wing on the left side and can accomodate around 250 passengers maximum.

Frankfurt, Istanbul and Amsterdam back to A310 from 777ER, Oslo and Copenhagen back down to A310 from 743.
